Second Grade Supply List
PLEASE DO NOT WRITE YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON THE SUPPLIES. You may bring the supplies to “Meet your Teacher” or send them with your child on the first day of school. Mid-year we tend to run out of certain items and may send another request at that time.
*For several items we have requested specific brands because we find that they last longer or work better.
- 1 back pack – NO ROLLING BACKPACKS
- 2 packages of Crayola Crayons (24 count only)
- 4 (Plastic only) folders with pockets and PRONGS (Colors: blue, red, yellow, green)
- 1 hard pencil box
- 12 glue sticks
- 2 packages of 24 pencils (#2 Papermate or Ticonderoga) *sharpened preferred
- 1 sturdy , 3-ring pencil pouch for binder
- 2 rectangle erasers
- 1 wide ruled composition notebooks (black and white – no designs)
- 1 spiral notebook
- 2 packages of 4 count Expo thick, black dry erase markers
- 1 package 4 x 6 index cards – white
- 1 durable headphones or earbuds(plain, no designs)**Will need replacing if broken throughout the year
- 1 white, 1- inch binder with clear plastic cover.
- 1 pair of child size, blunt tip scissors
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 package of Lysol wipes (girls)
- 1 box sandwich size ziplock bags (girls)
- 1 large bottle of hand soap (boys) or hand sanitizer (girls)
- 1 box gallon size ziplock bags (boys)
***Your child’s individual teacher might have a slightly different list of items that are specific for his/her classroom.
