First Grade Supply List
Below is a list of supplies needed for first grade. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON THE SUPPLIES. All supplies should be placed in a bag, box or container that is clearly marked with your child’s name. You may bring the supplies to “Meet your Teacher” or send them with your child on the first day of school. Mid-year we tend to run out of certain items and may send a request at that time. PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS TO RETURN ANY ITEMS THAT ARE NOT NEEDED.
*For several items we have requested specific brands because we find that they last longer or work better.
Supplies
- 1 back pack – NO ROLLING BACKPACKS
- 2 packages of Crayola Crayons (24 count only)
- 3 (Plastic only) folders with pockets and PRONGS (Colors: blue, red, and green)
- 1 hard pencil box-Full size
- 1 cloth pencil pouch-(10x7 inches)
- 12 glue sticks (NO SCENTED GLUE STICKS)
- 1 package of 24 pencils (Yellow Papermate #2 or Ticonderoga)
- Already sharpened preferred
- 2 rectangle erasers
- 3 wide ruled composition notebooks
- 1 spiral notebook
- 1 box of tissues
- 1 bottle of foaming hand-soap
- 1 package of 4 count Expo thick, black dry erase markers
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 package of antibacterial wipes
- 1 durable over the ear headphones (plain, no designs)NO EARBUDS
- 1 pair of child size, blunt tip scissors
- 1 white, 1-inch binder with clear plastic cover.
- 1 ream of color copy paper (girls)
- 1 ream of white cardstock (boys)
*Your child’s teacher might have a small list of items in addition to those above specific for his/her classroom. If you want to wait for Meet The Teacher, you will get a more accurate list.
