Sunshine State Young Reader's Award Program Sunshine Stare Young Reader's Award is a reading motivational program for young readers. The SSYRA books is a set of fifteen books targeting 3-5 grade students. Every year, media specialists, members of FAME. nominate 15 books in the 3-5 SSYRA category. Our media center has these books. One of these books will be voted as the winner book for the 2022-2023 school year. Students are encouraged to read these books all year. In order for students to vote in March for their favorite SSYRA 3-5 grade book, they will have to read a minimum of three SSYRA books from this category.
