    School Counselors Make a difference

    Our Mission

Our goal is to offer support to all students through classroom guidance, individual sessions, and small group counseling on topics such as bullying, anxiety, depression, study skills, social skills, personal safety, divorce, and grief.  We can also refer to outside mental health counseling agencies as needed for ongoing support.  We want students to feel safe and empowered at school so that they can be successful academically and socially.

What issues would I see a school counselor for?

Personal issues including: difficulty making friends, anger issues,                    sadness, feeling anxious, bullying, and family concerns.

Academic concerns (low performance in any subject area).
What do I do if I want to speak to a school counselor?
Tell a teacher or administrator that you want to see a school counselor.
